Overview of Sales Forecast

Overview of Suppliers

Description

This page gives you an overview of the company’s sales cycle. It also displays the outstanding amount of the sales orders for each status. You can view the overview by defining one or more of the following criteria.

Roles & rights

All users can view the sales forecast.

For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.

Button

Show

Click this to display the overview based on the defined criteria.

Note: Once you have clicked this button, the name of the button will change to Refresh.

Reset

Click this to clear the defined criteria so that you can start a new search.

Refresh

Click this to update the overview according to the defined criteria.

Close

Click this to exit.

Description

Criteria section

Date

Select the type of date to display the sales forecast. Select any of the following:

  • Created – Select this option to display the sales requests that are created within the specified date.
  • Start date – Select this option to display the sales requests that have a start date which is within the specified date.
  • End date – Select this option to display the sales requests that have an end date which is within the specified date.
  • Approved – Select this option to display the sales requests that are approved within the specified date.
  • Realized – Select this option to display the sales requests that are realized within the specified date.
  • Processed – Select this option to display the sales requests that are processed within the specified date.

Period

Type or select the start date range to display the sales requests.

Group

Select the organization group of the sales requests to be displayed. You can leave the box blank to display sales requests from any organization group. You can leave this box blank to display the sales forecasts with any groups.

Request: Type

Select the request type of the sales requests to be displayed. You can leave the box blank to display sales requests with any type. You can leave the box blank to display sales forecasts with any request types.

Account: Type

Select the account type of the sales requests to be displayed. You can leave the box blank to display sales requests with any account type. You can leave the box blank to display sales forecasts with any account types. For more information on account types, see Creating and Modifying Accounts.

Group by

Select the required option to group the sales requests accordingly. Select any of the following options:

  • Account – Select this to display the accounts with sales requests.
  • Manager – Select this to display the account manager with sales requests.
  • Division: Account – Select this to display the division of the accounts with sales requests.
  • Division: Person – Select this to display the division of the people with sales requests.
  • Person – Select this to display the people with sales requests.
  • Assortment – Select this to display the assortments with sales requests.

Status

Select the type of status to be displayed for the sales requests. Select one or more of the following:

  • Open – Select this check box to display the amount of the sales requests with an open status. The Open column will then be displayed in the overview.
  • Planned – Select this check box to display the amount of the sales requests that are still in the planning stage. The Planned column will then be displayed in the overview.
  • Realized – Select this check box to display the amount of the sales requests that have been realized. The Realized column will then be displayed in the overview.
  • Invoiced – Select this check box to display the amount of the sales requests that have been invoiced. The Invoiced column will then be displayed in the overview.

You can leave the check boxes blank if you do not want any of the columns to be displayed.

Division

Type or select the division of the sales requests to be displayed. You can leave the box blank to display sales requests from any division. For more information on divisions, see Overview of Divisions.

Assortment

Select the assortment of the sales requests to be displayed. You can leave the box blank to display sales requests with any assortment. For more information on assortments, see Overview of Assortments.

Account: Status

Select the account status of the sales requests to be displayed. You can leave the box blank to display sales requests with any account status. For more information on account statuses, see Searching for Accounts.

Customize

Click at the title bar to customize the fields or sections. You can add or remove existing criteria based on your preferences by selecting or clearing the relevant check boxes. Click Save to save the settings, Default to reset your selections to the default setting, or Close to exit without saving.
